Liz Bockman, native of Sycamore, Illinois, is a highly qualified professional who brings a history of a strong commitment to improving the healthcare experience for all stakeholders. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Northern Illinois University and is enthusiastic about the field of healthcare, patient advocacy, and any organization’s success.

Liz’s passion for enhancing the patient experience led her to become a certified patient advocate, and she went on to qualify for the Beryl Institute’s CPXP (Certified Patient Experience Professional) exam. Her dedication and expertise in this field are evident as she successfully achieved the international designation of a certified patient experience professional and applies the same philosophies and methodologies to a variety of organizations.

With over 15 years of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit healthcare sectors, Liz has held various roles, including physician relations liaison, physician shadow coach, patient advocate, and educator. She has a wealth of knowledge in training individuals to understand how their behaviors influence an organization’s culture, and consequently, the quality of care
provided to patients or customers throughout the healthcare or service-provider continuum.

One of Liz’s strengths is her ability to develop and implement programs that emphasize the importance of social skills and their impact on building successful and meaningful relationships, both professionally and personally. Her interactive presentations are well received by a diverse range of audiences, including healthcare administrators, physicians, clinicians, support staff, community leaders, corporate executives, and individuals of all ages.

Liz’s personal belief in the significance of social skills stems from her multifaceted experiences as a healthcare liaison, a classroom teacher, a mother, and a business owner. She recognizes projecting of a positive image and mastering social interactions are essential components of success in today’s increasingly globalized society.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Liz has generously volunteered her time as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors for Kishwaukee Family YMCA and DeKalb County Eldercare services, demonstrating her commitment to community engagement and service.

Liz primarily conducts her training and presentations in the Northern Illinois area, where her expertise and dedication have a significant impact on professionals and any organization striving to provide better experience and build successful relationships in a constantly evolving landscape.
